World Tatar Congress was held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan in December 2012. Tatars from different parts of the world as well as from various regions in Russia attended this gathering. Tatar - Bashkurt Association of Australia was represented by Musharraf Valiyff and Sofiya Valiyff.
